Last night while heading in my C4 for a Christmas Tree lighting, I drove through cow manure that a friendly farmer dumped on the street. I didn't see it until I was in it, thought it was just soil. Ha! It was wet gushy manure.
It was in the wheel wells, the sides and on the mufflers, which enhanced the smell. After four hours the car is clean once again.
This ia an experience I hope not to enjoy again. Is kinda funny now that everything is back in order.
No damage, just S---. I live in the country, normally just have to deal with Amish horse manure, that stuff dries fast and is usually flattened out, not a problem.
If you ever lived in a big metro area, ya kinda get numb when traffic reporters come on the radio. And so, I was barely paying attention when the traffic reporter mumbled something about truck spilling a load of chicken part and "stuff" the I-285 loop (around Atlanta).

The car was squirming around - the rear wanted to pass the front, and I was pretty bizzy steering to keep the car going in a straight line. Then, suddenly the smell hit me, and I put two and two together just exactly where it was that spill was the traffic reporter had been squawking about...
