Last week I ordered the Mothers 3 step system (Pre-Wax Cleaner, Sealer & Glaze, and Pure Caranuba wax). I went ahead and applied everything yesterday and was astonished by the results. The paint almost looks wet now and it really gave it a lot of depth! Not bad for 18 year old paint!

Looks Great, well worth the time and $$ I would say. I love torch red anyway...it's the best red they ever made for corvettes, Cheers!

Nothing looks as good as a RED vett all polished up, your car looks great. Is that a short throw sifter? Which one is it? Did you do the conversion yourself?

Appreciate all the compliments guys!

tombrammer- Thank you, no sir it isn't a short throw. However I do have the Hurst or ZFdoc short throw on my list of things to do. I just don't really drive it hard enough to find myself buying a short throw kit at the present time. Plus I have heard from many racers that yes it will allow you to select gears faster but the quickness of a shift is generally all in the feet. However I know many on here say the short throw is the best mod they did and I believe every word of it. I believe the ZFdoc short throw is the only one that allows you to retain the reverse lockout feature.

But for now I think I will just save that $150 and put it toward my wheel fund!

Great job. I'm kind of partial to torch red myself.
