this looks like it might be a good deal. sure its not top of the line but is that necessary?

Do it right the first time.
Ebay kits require a ton of work to fab them into a honda, let alone a sbc in a vette'. I wouldn't trust the quality of the parts, and low quality turbo's aren't something I'd screw around with. That being said, some volvo and honda guys use these with mild success. But it's usually a ticking time bomb, and god knows repairs for our cars aren't cheap.

"Universal", to me means "It fits nothing in this universe without a lot of work". These cheap turbos don't impress me. There is usually a reason they are cheap.
