Tonight was our first long ride in the 94, Avon Lake Ohio to Oberlin College. After pulling in the garage, I noticed a lot of fluid leaking from the passenger side floorpan. It apears to be condensation, like from the A/C. However, its about 60 out and chilly, and we had the heater on. Is it common on C4's to have condensation like this? The carpet on the floor is dry. And it doesnt appear to have any coolant mix in it just water. Any ideas?
If it's not coolant out of the overflow...then it's normal with the climate control in the '94. Mine does it too.

Looks like just water no coolant (checking the overflow bottle, it was actually low I just added some), seems like a lot of water to me. And its not humid out, plus A/C not on.
Mine leaks there when the A/C is on. It is dry when the climate control is off. I never run the heater (no point in Texas!), so I can't tell you if it leaks with the heater on. But it should be dry with the controls off.
I say it's NORMAL. You're simply seeing water from your A/C's evaporator core. The core is located under the dash and vents underneath the car via a plastic tube.
The amount of water gathered by the system will vary with the amount of humidity in the air when the A/C is operating. Occasionally, the vent tube can get plugged up with dust or other matter, causing the core to overflow and leak into the passenger compartment. If this happens, you can use a section of wire to dislodge the matter from the tube.
Don't forget that with the Auto Climate Control, it's possible to engage the A/C's compressor, even with the heater button engaged. It all depends on the temperature setting you select. My `92 does the same thing.
