dash guages
I've been reading a lot about the dash problems on the early c-4s. mine has been good up until last week but mine the problem is not going dark but it's bleeding on the tach and now the gas guage. I would like to change over to analog, but the cost and just after christmas. If I order the analog kit will it be plug and go? and is there more then one company that makes the kit? Or would it be better to send the dash out to be repaired? and how long will a repair last?

if the original one lasted 20 some years there is no reason why a properly restored one wont last the same.

How long the repairs last would be really up to what parts were used in the repair, and the quality of workmanship.
Do you have any photos of what your dash looks like? I may be of some help

Can you tell me of a good repair company? also my son has the car out I will thy to get some pictures when he gets back. I think a good repair would be pretty good. as long as they would do a complete rebuild.

Theres a good guy on ebay for about $150 depending on what needs to be done. My friend used him and the dash works great and he has cruise control. Just do a corvette dash cluster search on ebay and you`ll find him.
