Hi, I have a vacuum line off and can't for the life of me tell where it goes.Maybe someone can help. The line is coming off a tee against the drivers side wheel well near the master cylinder. I must have knocked it off cleaning the compartment.
On the late model C4s the lines off that T go to the cruise control servo and the one of the top of the T goes down below the battery. No idea on a C5 though.
Another method is to take the vacuum line and do a full 'rotation' in all directions. Where the outer circle ends, is where it must go. This works for wires too!
And that is why everyone should always list what year car they are seeking help for.
From your user name and avatar, everyone "assumed" you were asking about a C5.
Even in the C4 model run, there were vast differences through the years.
the only 't' close to that location on mine , goes to the vacum ball one way, the cruise control and then to the fire wall. there is another that goes from the emmisions mess in the front wheel well , to a t and then to the underside of he tpi, theres a switch there.

- sometimes, even within a particular model year, there are running production changes. i don't know how bad C4's can be, but the all time worse, configuration nightmare is the 1969 corvette.
I did the same thing on a C4, had a local mechanic smoke the engine to find the other end. I had a 't' by the left fender. That line went into the harnass next to the battery...never would have found it without the smoke.
