Why not. I need new covers and I found a good deal on c5 ones at half the price of new c4 ones

That's because the C5 seats suck! Why else would you pull seats out of a car, except to replace them with something better? I have no desire to replace my seats in my 95'. They are deep, comfortable, wrapping around me with leather love and I'd rather redo them, than replace them!

According to past threads they are too wide to fit in a C4.

Yeah there's not much in the way of aftermarket/non-stock seating because of how narrow the car is.

Check out the Iggee covers. About $200 and they fit great and do wear very well.

Any seat with a base width of 18"-19" or less will fit. The hardest part is making/buying brackets that will work. There are plenty of options out there. I own both a C4 and a C5 with aftermarket seats in both.

To the OP, I have no idea about the C5 specifically as far as the seat goes, but the tracks are different mounting points so if they would physically fit in terms of width... it would at MINIMUM require a modified track.

The C-5 seats will fit but as stated above you will have to mount the seats on the C-4 tracks by drilling a couple of holes in the C-5 seats. The C-5 tracks are too big but somebody on the forum modified them to fit by reversing the brackets on one side.

Unless of course you're looking for something more comfortable with arguably just as much support. But hey, there's a reason you don't see people putting C4 seats in a C5.

If C4 seats were so great, wouldn't we be putting them in C5s? Just sayin....

Not sure why you're getting so much grief over this?????

If they fit...and they will, just do it.

I was replying to the "C5 seats suck" post, not the OP's. Personally I like the looks in the photo above.

Well there are people who inquire about C4 seats in a C5. Personally I would never put C5 seats in a C4. The C5 seats are far from comfortable. Adequate yes, comfortable no. They make my butt hurt after more than a couple hours.

But you can make just about anything fit, hell put a bucket in there and sit on if you want to.
