I'm a newb to the Corvette. I have a 1990 Coupe. This mornign I opened the door and the alarm (horn) went off. Completely took me by surprise. Obviously the car won't start and the only way to get the horn to shut up was to disconnect the negative battery cable. Is there a way to re-set the alarm since there is no remote like on newer cars?

Figured it out. Guess I need to educate myself on how to ensure I don't arm the system.

Put the key in the ignition works on mine... a 91

Use your door key to lock and then unlock the drivers door. If that doesn't work could be the switch inside the door. The '90s never had a key fob did they?
