The threads name may be a bit deceiving, but since joining this forum I have asked many questions and received many great answers, and has helped me a ton with my older C4.
The absolute joy I have shared with my two sons over the years of corvette ownership has spilled over into their hearts and minds.
Which brings the meaning of this thread to light My "Next Generation" is that of my sons.
My youngest Son @ 21 years of age has saved a huge amount of cash to ultimatley buy a C6 vette.
Of course I have encouraged him, afterall your only young once, and many of the newer vettes seem to be driven by old farts like me, its sorta nice to see a younger guy enjoying the american sports car.
This is not without reservations ,knowing the potential hazard to owning such a powerful car can be a worry on me. I just hope my enthusiasim for the car, doesnt end in beating myself up if he decides to do something stupid...
Very cool! Just make sure he understands and knows his limits and he will be fine.
I bought my 94' 6 speed last July when I was 21, It is a very powerful car, even with traction control. The newer C6's are extremely impressive, and safe, he will be fine! A Corvette is just like driving any other car, until you step on it that is!
