Those people;e are fools who cares what they think, this is a global economy like it or not. Also most industry owned over seas is by Americans anyways. It's rich against poor and that is it.

I see no reason to pay for the OVER PRICED exhaust systems for these cars. I could not care less if they go out of business,. I'd rather see people in business being somewhat fair than being rapists.

$330+$55 shipping. Not bad. My current exhaust system was in a flood.
As far as made in china, that sucks. Oh well
The guy I work for owns the company that supplies oil, air, fuel, filters to Major service centers (firestone) cross country.
He buys from china by the 55ft shipping container. Bulk packed oil filters are .03 cents each and are boxed better then fram you buy at the stores.
No joke

Yes, buying from China sucks when you get junk, but it's great when it's a quality product at half of what an American made product costs. Let me ask this, are there any brake rotors forged in the US today? So far I've not found one. Apparently there is a company in Canada that is forging rotors, but the rest are coming from China. So when if I'm shopping for rotors do I buy the 4 wheel sets on ebay for less than $200 for all four wheels or do I pay $200 a wheel for EBC or Baer? If they all come from China what's the difference? Is it drilling, slotting and finishing a raw forging once it gets here or is it quality control at the mill in China? We went through this same cycle in the 60's and 70's with Japanese cameras and electronics. Somehow the US economy continued to function and grow.

I've had my OBX system on for a couple weeks and stand by my first impressions. It's a great system for the price, very well made and performs to my satisfaction. In the end, that's all that counts. Whether I like it or not, Chinese products are here and will continue to improve as long as the US consumer demands it.

One piece of pipe we had to bang on a little to flare it out but nothing unusual about that when dealing with exhaust. The fit and finish, quality of welds, construction in general I would rate very high.

Now for the really good part. It sounds great. Nice deep bass note and not obnoxious loud. You can really feel the power in the seat but very little drone. Cabin noise is a little more noticeable at highway speed, but it's not much more than stock. Sounds fantastic at WOT!

@illenema and or @hogsnvettes

Now that both of you have these exhaust system and I would assume spent some time driving in town and on the highway with them, any feedback on drone?

Sorry fellas, work comes first. I was in Cali for a week.

So what was the question? Drone? Still no drone except for a very narrow RPM range about 1600 to 1700. I normally cruise on the hwy at 70 and it's very nice. I mentioned that the exhaust is louder but it's not a drone. When I first bought my C4 it had gutted Magnaflows on it and the drone was horrendous so I know what it is.

@hogsnvettes

Thank you for the update.

My wife would like a little more growl from our stock 96, but we are going on a budget shortly when she loses her job at the end of March. We may be able to swing this deal but I want to make sure this is something we can live with (sound wise) if we buy it since we won’t be able to return it after we install it.

Thanks again.

I was wanting to hear a nice video of it. I'm interested in buying this system but I'd like to hear it first.

Does OBX make shorties or mid length headers cheap??

I just got mine delivered about 1 hour ago. It will be a while before I do the install. With the economy still suckin, you cant beat the price. The quality looks great.

I just installed obx headers on my 95 last weekend. If you are considering an install or buying these be aware that there is some modifications that have to be made (they are $550 shipped what do you expect). Personally, I had to put some 'dents' in some of the primary tubes at the engine because they crossed right over the flange bolt holes. That was kind of a pain but not a show stopper. You will also have to scrap or modify the oem speak plug brackets that attach to the engine and bend or remove the catalytic converter bracket on the drivers side for clearance. Lastly, you will also have to modify the a/c and compressor brackets but after all that it is a 'direct fit' haha. Other than that though the install is pretty straight forward. I put both mine up through the bottom and cleared everything fine. One more thing however is that each of the spark plugs at the front of the engine on both sides are extremely. I'm getting a custom socket set machined to make it easier in the long run for changing sparkplugs etc.

All in all though, I would do it again in a heart beat if I knew that my Vette would song the way it does now. Especially with my CORSA exhaust it sounds amazing. It is not loud at all just cruising around town and no drone on the highway but as soon as you get on it the gates open and it gets extremely loud.

I love the sound and quality of the headers just had to modify quite a bit during the install. If you have a lift this would be 14 times easier. There is also a power increase that I can feel through all the rpm ranges. It seems to speed up on its own now.... haha.

Keep us posted. I am going to try to get an exhaust video together here this weekend but until then you can type into youtube 'c4 corvette full exhaust upgrade' and that is exactly how mine sounds after the headers. A c4 vette with any longtube headers with the same mufflers etc will sound pretty much the same. Just look on youtube.

Hope this helps. If you've got anymore questions feel free to ask.
