I had what would seem to be the identical wheels on my '84 for a couple of years in the late '80's. They were made by American Racing and kind of a knock-off of the Gotti. Mine were silver, but they were also available with gold accent, as on your pic.

Maybe that dealership put them on as a way to add a little fat onto the sticker price. As they do now a days with pinstripes, flaps, or paint protectant. The things we ALL say we aren't paying for. GM never offered them as an option shipped from the factory.
