Hey everyone, the floor mats in my 94 coupe are shot, I have very little rubber gripping left on the bottom. I was looking at the HD Contoured Mats from Zip. Has anyone tried these? Also what are you all using in your cars?
Lloyd makes the best floor mats available, followed by ACC which is what I have , they have held up fairly well but I would get Lloyd's next time,there just a few bucks more...WW

I agree Lloyd makes the best mats for the price. I have had mine for several years. They show very little wear and still look great.

Should I go with Ultimat or Velourtex?

I'm sure they can be found from the Various vendors we have here on CF, I'm looking at the ones from http://www.zip-corvette.com/
Ahem, I know how to install floor mats properly even though I own a C5. Let me explain;
1. Call the dealership and make an appointment.
2. Go to the dealership and select you floor mats.
3. Sign the work order allowing the dealership to install said floor mats.
4. Pay an enormous bill and drive your C5 home.

I recently got the Ultimat, and they are nice (nicest floor mats I've ever seen). Lots of nice logo options to really make your interior stand out.
Haven't seen the VelourTex in person to compare with though.
I have the Ultimats in my 67 love em.
Very plush, high quality and cover ALL the floor area perfectly.
Anchoring system built in too (dont need it).
Best 79 I ever spent.
Cheap floormats are
Dealers all over the place, Lloyds is in Northridge Ca. They will give you a dealer or two in your zip if you ask. THey do not sell direct to the public
I ordered some of the logo'd ones for my 96. Took me three tries before I got a set where the letters were straight. The first set I got looked like one of those verification tests you get on a website to make sure your a human.... Hundred bucks, check their work!
