I've been looking at some exausts, and noticed that you can usually get either a whole cat-back system for about a grand, or for about half that, get just the muffler.
Is there a huge differnce between the two? Would i be happy just getting the muffler part, and saving the $$?
BTW: I was looking at the Corsas. :D

You can get the Corsa system for around $800 and worth every penny.
With the whole cat-back, you get an engineered system. If you get just the mufflers, you are mixing the factory with aftermarket and may not get the optimum benefit that you would by getting the whole system.
The Corsa system includes a crossover or "H" pipe that isn't in the factory setup.
Besides with a cat back, you don't have to do any cutting and it will be a lot easier to switch back to stock if you chose to.

I agree if you are going with the Corsa's get the whole system. Installation is pretty straight forward, all parts are included and you can do it yourself and save labor. With just mufflers you will probably have to pay for labor at a muffler shop so the can cut and weld the old off and the new on. I installed mine by myself and took an afternoon with some beers and not rushing.
