1990 Targa Holder Rubber Inserts
Looking for the thin rubber style inserts for the targa top holder. I ordered some from Ecklers but these (V-Shaped) must be for a new C4 and will not fit. I need the ones that fit within the entire housing. Anyone know where to get some? Called around but nobody seems to have them.

I tried to find some for my 89 but was not sucessful. I wound up using the strips that come with chair and table pads that you get at hardware stores. You peel off the paper and they stick to the inside of the brackets. They are tan and go with my saddle interior. They have a soft protective side. They look like they are made for the car. My top is in the back 6-7 months a year anyway. Good luck!

The V shaped targa storage pads are an improvement over the earlier year 84-91 pads.
You'll have to buy the later 92-96, plastic targa top storage housings to fit the V shaped pad in but, it's a very worthwhile and inexpensive direct bolt in mod.
