targa top storage...how?

targa top storage...how?
I wanted to take the top with me and can't figure how to store it in the back. I had it sitting in there once but all I could see was rear end collisions and heads being cut off. I tend to look at the worse that can happen and that didn't look all too cool. So if anyone can explain how they go in or even a pic would help. thanks

Don't he 85's have two clip looking things right begind the seats? They should look like the piece right below the light in this pic:
When you take your top off, rotate it so the back is toward the front of the car and slip the corners into those holders.

There should be two little holders that you slide the top into. Then near where the hatch latches down there is a handle. Pull the handle towards you and a small post pulls out of the way. There is a corresponding hole in the top so that when you put it down there and let go of the handle it gets locked into place.
p.s.
The top is stored 'backwards' in the hatch. The rear faces the seats and the front faces the tail.
