Picked up my '93 tonight.
It's a whole different animal. Got the Dana 44 with the 3.45 gears in, new Torque converter-2800 Vigilante, tranny cooler. I have to put the exhaust back on, but the ride home with no exhaust(just the cats)was pretty cool.

Probably test it on Sunday at the track.
Frank,
I hear ya! I took off at about half throttle from a stop sign today after my third break in run on the gears and she spun a little (fish tailed) and hooked! I couldn't believe it! It feels like it has so much more than the old 2.59s with the stock TC. I can't wait to get this thing aligned and to the track! :D

I'm curious as to why you went with the 3:54's instead of the 3:73's?
It's actually 3.45, but the reason was simple. When I picked up the rear, the guy told me straight up to leave them alone. You can't beat what the factory put together. In other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Now if the rear takes a crap, I'll go with different gears, but maybe not since I would have to change the gears for the speedometer again.
Also, it's something different, I'm curious as to how I'll compare to what Mackey and Panuzzo ran with the 3.73's.
Sorry, I was actually responding to CPRGMR. I saw from his signature that he had the 3:54's.
I'm probably going with the 3:73's myself, but some seem to think it is too low. Do you have any idea what the RPM's would be at 70 mph on the highway with 3:54's and 3:73's?
Well since we are all making request of ya, id like to see you run the mich. tires and see if it it possible to break into the 12's with them and the setup you have!!
