hi everyone, i am a newbie here. :) i was surfing the net a while ago when i found this place. i have been reading everything for a while and a few days ago i decided to register. i dont own a vette yet, but i will in a year or less. ever since i was about 2 i have loved corvettes. my parents say that when i was 4 we lived right by a groceory store, our house had a 5 foot metal fence all around it. one day i dissapeared. they found me right next to a brand new corvette in the store parking lot. they say i must have climbed over the fence. :) i love all vettes but for some reason i like the C4's the most. even more than the new Z06. figure that one out! like i said, i dont own a vette yet, but i own the closest thing to a vette i could get. and that is a 85 pontiac fiero GT, i am doing a series I 3800 conversion in it right now. i know fiero's are NOTHING compared to a vette, but it is a nice car, and it is made by GM. so try not to make too many fiero jokes ;)
for some reason this has been the best week of my life.. so far. i saw a total of about 20 C4's and 1 C5. today i saw a black C4 and a red C4. i was supposed to be picking my sister up from work, but when i saw the red vette i whipped out of the parking lot and tried to catch it, but it was too far away :(
i never got the chance to get a good look at a C4 yet, but that is because i am afraid the owner will see me and think i am messing with it. i dont like the idea of going to the E.R because i wanted to look at a vette. :)
you guys/gals dont mind if a non vette owner hangs around here, do you?
oh, and just so you know, i have a bad habbit of making ALOT of typo's, so dont be surprised if my posts are full of them :)
You are welcome but you have to do everything in your power to get a Vette even if it means lying to your mother. :) In the meantime stay cool. I know from your attitude about Vettes you'll be in one soon.
Welcome aboard! Stick around and learn about all the different year vettes. That way you can better select which year C4 you would like to buy. We are glad to help you in any way possible.

Welcome! Nothing wrong with fieros (cept for the fire that comes with them :D ). I saw one with a 350 conversion so those can be made to be faster :smash: . Like everyone said, you will learn A LOT here. The folks here are great so stick around, pull up a seat, and enjoy the ride.

thanks all. i AM doing everything in my power to get a vette, i am even getting a job at the salvation army :) that is the only place that i can find. i do lawn mowing for a dealership and i make $180 to $240 a month, depending on the weather. with the lawn mowing and the salvation army job i should have a vette by next spring, if i sell my fiero for enough. then i will have to try and stay out of trouble with it :)
Welcome to the University :seeya I read this forum for over two years before joining. I was quietly attending class and learning from all the great folks here. As a result, I just purchased my first Vette with knowledge learned from here. :yesnod: Keep reading and learning, as I am, and it will help you when you get ready to buy. Enjoy the education. :) :) :)
