Come on UPS!
My car is a delivery away from running! The parts were sent on Monday, thye should be here today or tomorrow. I'm sitting patiently waiting for the UPS guy...
Parts on order are...
Melling Oil Pump w/ Millodan Pick-up
Crane Bronze Distributor gear
Distributor Shim kit
Autometer Mini-Tach
Autometer Oil Pressure guage and kit
I still don't know what I'm going to use as a machining paste, White-Out will probably end up being it. We don't have any PB-75 (Prussian Blue) at work, I thought we did...
My latest dillemna is that I don't have any oil to put back in after I drop the pan! Nor an oil filter, since that gear came apart, it definitely needs to be changed. The nearest parts store is 74 miles away! I'm desperately trying to find someone going to town to pick me up some.
But thats an afterthought, come on UPS!

Wait, I do have oil, I have 6 quarts of Mobil 1 Synth, but the motor only has 89 hours on it. I was planning on switching to synth at 150 hours.
She doesn't burn any oil anymore, so I wonder if those rings have seated already.
The car is a mile away, so I can't check the mileage, but I think it has just over 3,000 miles on the new motor.
