Default Lower Ball Joints

I have a 1993 Coupe. It has the origional ball joints on it. Everything is still tight. I checked the uppers for play with a dial indicator and they are well within specs.
The lowers still seem tight enough but the wear indicators are disappearing, these will need replaced before any others.

My question is that when I called Advance Auto Parts, Napa and Orielly Auto parts no one has them in stock and it takes over a week to get them.

I know that these ball joints aren't that year specific, the people at the stores don't seem to know that these joints are the same for several years. I've had the same problem at a Chevy store, they really don't know a hell of a lot either or I keep hooking up with a lazy counter man.

Does anyone know of a website that can cross reference some of the parts? These counter people only know what they see on the screen in front of them.

Any preference on brands, Moog, TRW, etc. There is no rush, I'm just picking some brains. Thanks

What he said. I use Rock Auto as my cross reference. Takes a few key strokes but it works.

Default Ball Joints 1993

Thank you guys. After I got off the forum I found a website that was easy to swap years. The ball joints I need were used from 1988 to 1996.

Its just annoying when these counter people stand there without really trying to help. Even Mr. Goodwrench would rather be taking a nap.

Many of the " no name" brands are over size
and almost impossible to seat square in the arm for pressing in
or **** sideways when pressed
Has been documented on here in the past
