Default Targa top

1985 corvette

the targa top has 3 major cracks in it.. i was looking to just replace the plastic part, not the whole thing. hope u all know what i mean by it x.x (cracks are in the front, running from front to back, one on left, one in middle and one on right) or if anyone has any ideas on how to repair it im all ears.. well... eyes... cause im reading it lol

There are a few places that rebuild the tops if you don't want to purchase a new one. Search the forum for names, I think Melrose is one of them. You can also search for a good used top. 84-86E would work perfectly on your 85.

Buy a good used OEM top. Most of the rebuild top companies suck *** and their tops are junk. Wouldn't do you any good to get a rebuilt top just for it to crack again in a few months because they're junk.

I just listed a smoked top I don't use in the parts section if interested. No worries if not... Just sort of on topic and I am willing to trade for parts. Actually, looks like it won't fit the '85. Mine is an 86-88 model.
