Sill carpet?
I am thinking of changing the sill and speaker carpet..The carpet is now lite grey..thinking of black sill and speaker covers.. And leaving the main carpet lite grey ..Thoughts opinions?
How difficult is changing the sill and speaker carpet??

Speaker carpet? I'm assuming the lower door panel carpet on an early c4 where the front speakers attach?
If so, did that and the sill carpet. Have red interior, and did black for the sill and door panel. Gives it a nice two tone look.
Sill carpet, real easy. I think there are two screws holding it in place, and you'll need to take off the plastic trim piece to pull the sill out. Painted the trim piece black as well.
For the door, you'll need to pull the door panel. Not that hard. Just a bunch of screws holding it in place, and it'll slide out once you disconnect all the wiring harnesses.
Use some contact cement to reapply your new carpet and your set.

On my 92 the speaker grill looks like part of the sill carpet...am I correct?
