windshield distortion

my 94 has a strange issue, when I am on a more wavey or bumpy road where the front goes up and down more it seems to me that there is distortion in the uppre half of my windshield. Anyone else notice this?

Perhaps it was ground to the prescription of the previous owner. If it's only the upper half he must have used bifocals.

No meds, no beer, I am dead srious, there is a certain distortion from the top half to the bottom.

normal to have some 'waves'...high slope angle of vette windshield makes imperfections more obvious...if windshield is not oem, extra 'waves' are common in 'budget' glass...many pro glass shops have a black/white 'grid' wall display, used to check new glass,and 'rejects' that can be bought for cheap $...for 'diy' check, park your car perpendicular to a brick wall and see if the bricks look right.

Look at the corners. Does it say GM or PPG. If not, it could be a cheapie replacement. Time to call Safelite if it really bothers you.

Just messing around.......sounds like the glass clearly has an imperfection in it.

I agree, take it to Safelite, you can even ask them to install LOF Glass. That is what I have in mine.

It's only fair for me to say that I work for Safelite.
