Tranny question

Will a 700 R4 from a 1991 Camaro Z-28 fit in a C4, are the 700s in a vette the same 700s thats in a f-body(size wise)...I know the vette tranny is a little better built...

It will fit. You are correct if its not modified it wont be the same.You also need to change the tail for the speedo sender. :smash:

tha camaro tranny also wont shift into 4th at wot and you wont be able to maintain wot in 4th, it will downshift into 3rd, then best you can do is get an after market valve for it, and then you'll only get 3/4" thottle at best before it downshifts. Forget about a top speed run. Also the vette has a different servo to give it firmer shifts
