From the looks of things we who are willing to put up with the quirks of the LT1 Base Corvettes may some day soon make some decent money
on resale. I was at the Charlotte Corvette show on friday and there
was my 95 and one other early C4 convert they were flogging in the parking lot. Lots of C5 and too many modified C6 cars. Even some C2 and C3 cars. I found the same at the last C4 event at the museum last
year. Guess the bottom line is keep those C4 LT1 cars from being scrapped-they may gain value again.

They are fine cars, and I always enjoyed my 96 LT1, but can't ever imagine it being an investment. Just enjoy it and drive.

Bought my 95 coupe nice and fairly low mile. When I'm finished, it will be salvage. I ain't gettin' any younger, and I'm damn sure not leaving anything nice for anyone else.

It was a sad day the day I traded in my Z28 for my 92 Vert and few years later I learned the car was totaled. My Z28 was a beautiful car.

Meechum auto auction peeps call them a good investment car due to the low prices. If you keep them long enough they will go up in value.

I told my wife the other day, that if I should die suddenly, I want her to scrap the car. She asked why. I said, "you're still very attractive and you'll probably get married again, and I don't want some jerk getting my vette." She said "what makes you think I'd marry another jerk?"
