...magical about a cruise in your Vette on a sunny day, am I right? Was a bit cold to have the top down, since I have been sick for the last week, but it was nice enough for a long cruise in the country. Having gone nearly two years without a Vette, every time I take the 89 out I'm reminded why I like these things so much.

Normally in MN I wouldn't even have my car out until mid to late April. But here it is April 1st and I've already put 800 miles on. I'm thinking it's gonna be a long, fun summer!

I'm looking at the end of the month until I get mine out and I'll be in the same boat.

Cannot agree with you more. Seems the Corvette drives nicer on nice sunny days.

You're right. I had mine out yesterday. I even got a wave from a guy in a '70 Challenger. That was cool.
Nothing like a ride in a Corvette to take away your troubles.

The weather here in Florida is getting hot, too hot for top down during the day. However, about 6 pm it starts cooling down, and perfect for a drive. I drove over to the beach and it was great. It's nice smelling the smells and hearing things other than the radio!
The best thing I've done recently is getting the '88 convertible. I've never enjoyed driving so much!

I agree. My first two were coupes. The convertible is so much better.

Wait...too hot to have the top down? Is there such a thing?

Took the targa top off my 40th and cruised today. I needed a therapy drive. The weather's been great in this neck of the woods...according to the outside temp display in the Vette, 85 degrees with no humidity.

In Texas, we are in the 80 degree weather all day now. And yes, nothing like cruising your Vette on a sunny day!

Took mine to the recycling facility (20 miles away) this morning just to air it out some, been 9 days. 65 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. An almost perfect hour.

Vacation can't get here soon enough. Six more weeks, then I'm taking the car out for a week to "get to know each other".

I need to do the same....stressful week.....but it's windy and dusty for the next few days. Not gonna happen. Hopefully will be nice this weekend. Marco needs to go for a romp in the forest.

That is a very cool shot.

With such a warm Winter I've been enjoying my car year round.

Had mine out again tonight. Not the best day outside, but as PLRX pointed out, they drive great in any weather. And they are great therapy....which I needed.

Is this the Superstition Mountain just East of Phoenix? I lived there (Mesa & AJ) for about 15 years and it looks a lot like it. Great weather and great views.

Here in Illinois, we don't have near the spectacular scenery, but at least it has been nice and able to get the cars out again. Like someone said, it just feels good taking the car out for a drive on a nice day. And they do seem to drive nicer on sunny days.

Drove mine to work Monday and it was HOT. Too dam hot with no A/C. Started off with the targa off but had to put it back on to keep from frying. You Yanks are enjoying your spring weather and N. Florida just jumped from a week of winter into summer.

A/C works with the top off, too.

It was a sweltering 25 degrees this morning leaving for work, so needless to say the top stayed on. Sadly the 7 day forecast does not look promising either.

Our forecast for the next week here in MN is not too warm, either. But as long as it doesn't rain or snow, the Vette will get driven. The top might be up and the heat on...but that's OK with me.
