GS Calipers Any Different?

GS Calipers Any Different?
Are the GS front calipers any different from the calipers on a '88 C4 with the Z51/13' front rotors? I see they look different but was wondering if theyre any better of fit differently.

I hate to argue with the Internet, but the GS calipers are thicker than the J55 calipers and resist spreading better. I have both sets on the bench and measured them. When retro fit into other vehicles, the J55 will clear a 16" rim, while the thicker GS caliper will not.

Of course the nice thing about the GS calipers is the CORVETTE lettering on them
