Annoying starting problem.
Need some heads up on this problem before i dive in to deep. When i twist the key to start it up it will crank and crank with not starting(90% of the time), but if you let it crank for just a second or two and let go of the key it fires up. This happens hot or cold. 87c4--auto. no mods.

Check for spark when cranking, when you let off the key the system goes from a start schedule to a run schedule, the engine might be starting when the last to fire cylinder hits as you let off the start position.
