Default Dash lights replacement ?s

How far will this problem go--no lights for oil pressure/off/temp and the range/off/trip odo--so I will get all the bulbs replaced, but do you suppose there is a problem with the switches?

My only clue, I don't know to what , is that when I first turn the ignition switch on those "dead" lights show faintly.

As you know, the switches are in a different bezel above the radio. Maybe I could do this later??????

I have to go in steps; my wife only allows a certain amount per month for my "mistress".. Vanna the '87 Corvette.

The new bezel for the above-the-steering-wheel post is on back-order from Corvette Central (mein Got in Himmel, $179 +/-) The former owner installed a radar detector and tightened the right upper and lower screws to tight and cracked the bezel

AND about the ignition switch--should there be an "accessory" position that allows radio, windows, seats to be moved/adjusted when sitting, waiting on one's wife while she is shopping and you are afraid to leave your car alone--especially at Walmart

The dash bulbs are Halogen so they slowly dim over time.....its unlikely the bulbs will all burn out at the same time. I would change the bulbs.....if the dash area you are having a problem with still exists then your best option would be to send the whole digital dash unit out for a rebuild.
