Seems like Corvettesonw and B17crew have come up with the answer. I have found sometimes you often have to discard the redrick and smart answers to get to the bottom of the issues on the C4 forum. I guess it just goes with the territory. You can learn something new everyday on this site.

I recently purchased the Escort 9500ix and got the Escort live cord also. I downloaded the Android software to my phone and used the whole rig on a trip to North Carolina. I had less than 5 false alerts in 1500 miles, it found 4 speed cameras, and three times other Escort Live participants alerted me to 3 instant on radar traps. One was no longer there but still......! It's a social media network for the road warrior.
I don't know how many people subscribe to it now but the speed traps were found miles in advance. I'm sold.
