Hi
There are 3 different top years, 84-early 86 late, 86-88 and 89-96 they have different locating pins and front mounting bolt locations on the targa roof.
see below.
You will need to get the correct year windshield header brackets to fit
a later or earlier roof. I have put the 89-96 brackets on my 85 to fit the 89-96 roof panels which are more readily available, the rear brackets are the same on all years of C4's.
