I have a 94 base coupe with the base suspension. My rear spring is starting to delaminate and I wanted to replace both front and rear.... Are there any good aftermarket springs that have a stiffer spring rate and will possibly lower the car a tad.

Ralph (Indianavette) has been selling Z51 springs for $100, they are very nice. The stronger spring is less curved and should lower the car some plus be stiffer. If you need more drop in the rear just swap the spacers from top to bottom.
wow i know alot of people are fans of the DRM coilovers, i didnt know they were under $1000 though. i thought they were closer to $2000. if i had known that i would have went that route rather then 6-700 i spent on aftermarket springs

Exotic muscle has 2 pairs street ($1,076) and race ($1,425)... I'm wondering how the DRM ones compair to these..... I am hoping for a drop in replacement or close to with minimal fabrication
do a search here, i know people have used both. iv also seen the vansteel ones used too. from what i see they all require a little work but nothing major. i usually see people having to move one of the sway bars forward (i forget if its front or back), and widening up the front shock tower.
Van Steel's coilovers are the route I'll be going. They are more expensive though because they are on adjustable QA-1's...which aren't cheap to begin with. Their lower rear mount is also impressively sturdy. I hope to have my on by end of May, or mid June at the latest.

How's the install on the van steel ones.... Is it pretty much bolt on with no fabrication
As far as I know. I haven't heard of anyone having to move the sway bar on theirs, but I've been meaning to find out for sure. I'll have to ask next time I stop by to say hi (they are only 10 minutes from my office).
