Info on Corvette Challenge?

Info on Corvette Challenge?
Im doing a report on the Corvette Challenge and was looking for some more info. Everything Ive found online is pretty much the same stuff. I was wondering mainly what other cars were in the same class as the C4 during the three years it was undefeated?

Well, in the Corvette Challenge, it appears that all the cars are Corvettes.
Do you mean SCCA World Challenge? Or do you mean SCCA Showroom Stock GT where the C4 was banned after 3 years of successful racing?
World Challenge in 1986 GT was won by Paul McIntosh in a Porsche 944 and SS was won by the Archers in the Corvette. 86 GT was Steve Saleen in the Mustang and SS was once again the Archers in the C4.
SS class was removed and the Corvette won GT in 90 by RK Smith. Archers moved to Eagle in 89. SS came back and Corvettes were moved to World Challenge class after that.
Of course the SS class in was all Corvettes in 86 and 87.
1984 - Corvette wins SCCA Showroom Stock GT National Championship.
1985 - Corvette is undefeated in all six SCCA Showroom Stock endurance series races Captures SCCA Showroom Stock GT National Championship.

I mean whatever racing series the C4s were in before they were banned-like what cars they beat.
So the SS and Gt were two different car classes? From this I take it the C4 wasnt necessarily undefeated?
