Used bezel for '87 dash ?
My original (above the steering wheel, tach, speedo, etc) is cracked around the screw holes on the right side......so I ordered a used one....at this time no one has new for sale.
The one I have received from______(shall remain nameless) is nice but "repaired" in the same places. Are the right-side screws a problem to others?????
The former owner of my '87 convertible installed a radar detector...in the installation, I think he tightened the screws too tight possibly unless it is a "factory" weakness.
Any of you have this problem?

I think it's pretty common in cheap plastic that's had a quarter century of heat and sunlight to dry it out and make it brittle. My dash and console have cracks around several screws. As long as it stays on and the gauges work, I live with it. It's not that noticeable.
