The old Pharts down here don't wave back either.....Kinda P's me off, but then they are better that we are, aren't they?...........

Some Vette owners are JUST that "Owners", not the thing we are.....Don't get discouraged, whenever I wave and they don't wave back, I simply retract 3 fingers!

BTW.... I'm 42, but not a "Blue Hair" yet.....

:seeya

wow, didnt know so many didn't wave. About every time I wave here, I get a wave back, I think maybe only 1 time I didnt...and I'm not sure if they saw me in time or not... We have to stick together, we are part of an elite group of enthusiasts and to me it also shows respect. :yesnod:

I'm not a "youngin" as I retired last year and moved to FL. However, I wave to every Vette I see (miss some once in a while) and many times don't get return waves - mostly C5 owners (sorry guys/girls). It seems they buy the car more for a status symbol rather than for pride of ownership. Keep on waving and the waves will return to you. :seeya

I always wave no matter what. There have been times I get waved at but i dont see them till the last min. So maybe they aren't dissing you but just didnt see you. C4 owners always seem to wave, C5's is a 50/50 chance most of the C5 owners only drive them because they have the money and they can and not for the Passion and respect of a corvette. just my 2 cents

Has nothing to with it. There are a lot of vette owners that do not wave.
I'll way at ya.

I agree, I also now have a C5 (because I got the money  ) I thought it was a C4/C5 thing. I still don't get as many C5 waves as I do when I drive the C4.

Just wave and if you get one in return the better.

bah, dont worry about it you youngin

If they miss the wave/don't know the wave it matters not. If you enjoy the wave, then wave to your Corvette brethren. Your age has nothing to do with it; and even if it did, that's their problem not yours. Enjoy your ride

I've officially stopped waving at C5ers. It's the only way I can control the urge to flick a booger on their windshield when they snub me. C4 guys/gals are almost guaranteed to respond, as well as C3s without chrome bumpers.

I'm 19 and I get waves all the time. More from C5's then C4's

Also, maybe C4's get more waves from people, because we are actually unique looking.
I can spot a C4 a mile away.

Lets face it, from a small distance the C5 looks exactly like the Fbody front, especially with the Day time running lights.
