Please let me know if Im just being paranoid. I have a tendency to glance at my '88s guages every few secs and starting today I noticed that it seems to be taking longer than usual for my oil temp to actually show a temp-just says Lo temp F.
I just drove my car and it took about 10 mins or so for the temp guage to finally stop saying Lo and it was about 150 F while the coolant was around 173 F. How long should it take for the guage to register a number? Also should I just take it easy until the temp registers?
