C4 newbie owner
Hi Y'all
I just purchased my first Vette ever, its a 92 LT1 with 78000mi that seems to be fully loaded with power everything,variable ride control,ASR and automatic climate control etc it is the nicest most equipped car I have had yet and its 20 yrs old. the previous owner repainted the hood replaced the brake system, new tires and installed a new stereo system with an amp.
I had it checked out by a local shop owner who is familiar with vettes and he pointed out a few issues such as a small oil leak on the engine and a leaking rear shock and recommended replacing some bushings in the future but overall he said it was in good shape for a 20yr old car.
I have a million questions already but here are a few.
should I replace all the shocks or just the 1 bad one? those ride control shocks aint cheap!
I want to replace the mufflers with something a little more aggressive such as flowmaster so any recommendation would be appreciated.
I have already been forewarned of the opti spark issue that may arise but I am planning on replacing it with the MSD system if it ever acts up.
I am really looking forward to the wife and I cruising up and down the Ga coast in it

You can simply have the bad shock rebuilt.
