Targa top issue?? Maybe?

Targa top issue?? Maybe?

Well drove up to my place up north... Pulled up in front of the cabin (pebble uneven driveway)..unloaded..and went out to put the top on.. Bolted up the back bolts and moved to the front..and the front bolts were not lining up.. Maybe an 1/8 off.. Backed the car down the driveway and heard the top shift and bolts lined up... Is this normal?? Does the car really flex that much or is there an issue..

I have had the same issue I would say yes.

Absolutely the car will flex that much on an uneven surface. The top, when bolted in place, becomes a structural member.

I can feel the flex at low speed driving on rough roads... Didn't think the car would flex that easy just sitting on a pebble driveway..

The "uneven" part of your statement had more effect than the pebble driveway part.
Anytime your on an uneven surface, you could have trouble getting the top bolts to line up properly.

Happens to me every time, since I have to park on an gravel surface on a slope. I back the car up an inch or so and everything lines up. If it really gives me fits I go up the street to a store with a level parking lot.
