Longer rear bolts and cut off the shims on the ends of the front spring.

Many have just dropped the rear and found the change satisfactory.
My choice for the front was cutting the spring mounts.

Dropped the nose 1.5 and the rear almost 2

I did it for free.

I cut the top half off of each rubber pad on the front spring, (2 large on the arch and the other 2 on the ends of the spring).

On the rear, the 2 long bolts at the ends of the spring control the height. I drilled new holes for the cotter-pins as low as possible, so I could lower the castle nut. I probably should have bought the lowering bolts for the rear, because it needs to go down just a little more, but it did drop it more than I expected.

The front is right on. the rear could use another inch or so.

Back is easy, just get the proper lowering bolts, I also moved a few of the spring shims from bottom to top or vice versa, I can't remember now. Front is time consuming, since the spring has to be removed, cut the wedges or replace with lowering wedges. I also removed the rubber ends from the spring, worth another 1/2 ", which some people will frown upon, but it is not a daily driver.

Mine is low and I bottom out quite a bit, ( just so you are warned )especially with two people, but love the way it looks...the front spoiler will drag a soda can laying on its side

Interesting topic, I have had people ask me if my car was lowered. Could have been before I bought it, I dunno. Not so sure myself if it is.

Would I be able to spot this if it was previously done?

Would anyone who has a lowered vette mind taking a quick measurement from the top of the wheel well/fender edge to the ground front and rear on you car and post it so I can compare it to mine?

Regards,
