Access to the Antenna motor
Can someone please help me? I'm trying to find the access to the Antenna motor on my 1985 corvette. I just got the car but I don't have a Manuel.
Thanks,
Patricia

I am not sure about your 85, but on my 92 you have to go up from underneath. It is easier with the wheel and flaring removed.
Someone will probably be along shortly to verify. You may also be able to get additional info doing a search in the box at the upper right side of the topic,

Step 1. Remove rear wheel and leave the car on the jackstand.
Step 2. Remove the black plastic wheel well lining.
(make sure to remove ALL the screws holding it in).
Step 3. Look up inside the opening and you'll be able to see the motor and all the connections.
Step 4. If you are taking the motor assembly out, disconnect the antenna, the grounding strap, and unplug the electrical connection plug.
Step 5. Unbolt the motor assembly from the car.
Step 6. Reverse procedure to replace the motor assembly.
