ac commpressor
i have 84 the cluch on the ac gos on for about 1/2 sec & off for 7/8 sec, all the time, i've tried putting more 134 in, it dosnt seem to help. could i have to much in ? i dont think its my commpressor. any adv.

Good lord - without a Manifold Gage Set, it's hard to even guess; but unless you know that it had R134 in it, you can't be dumpin' R134 in it. Your symptoms suggest it's undercharged or plugged up and if it's plugged up, you don't want to run it because if the high limit is broken or breaks, you'll blow a hole in something - maybe yourself. And if you've mixed R134 with the R12 it came with from the Factory, you're headed in that direction so everything needs to be sucked out so you can start over with a clean system and some new parts (at least an Accumulator). If you don't want to invest in the tools to see what it is, go to a shop and have them tell you - Poop Boys advertises $29.95 for a quick once over.
