dyeing steering wheel?

Well, i can't afford to replace it so I am thinking about redyeing it.. Is it worth it or should i just put a
cover on it? :confused:

There is a similar post here about what to use and everyone seems to agree with use Kiwi leather shoe dye. It does work. If it dont hep you can cover it or replace it. :cheers:

That would be my suggestion too. With shoe polish or other OTC leather "dyes"...you're actually just staining the surface of the leather...so it's at best a temp fix. (plus ya run the risk of transfer). IMHO...you're better off with a quality cover until you can replace/properly restore the original.
