My horns work great while the car is sitting in the garage but as soon as I get out on the road both horn buttons are inoperative. Bring the car back and let it sit awhile in the garage and the horns start working again. Any thoughts guys?

Here is a pic I took before I pulled my steering wheel just to make sure I got the horn wires in the correct place for the installation.
Look at the two copper strips. These are the contacts that make the horns blow when you push on the button(s). The buttons easily pry off with a small flat blade screw driver. I'll bet if you gently pry those copper strips toward you JUST A LITTLE BIT then your problem will go away.
On second thought - check for corrosion first by removing the copper strips and cleaning them with some electrical parts spray cleaner. If that does not work then try to bend them out a bit.
Here is the "after" pic. You will notice that I painted the horn buttons with semi gloss black paint (made for plastic interiors) to get rid of the ugly gray stock color.
