Well thanks to whomever it was who posted about squeeky turns in his, I believe it was a '95. Had the same problem in my '96. After numerous attempts to find something scraping or rubbing I finally went to Vette Shop and another shop in Clearwater. Neither could figure it out. Got online and saw the responses about Differential Fluid change. Since my 1996 has 104,500 miles on it I figured it couldn't hurt. Got a pump, pumped out old fluid, pumped in the new fluid, took it out for a spin and, "coolness", finally the squeeling and squeeking have stopped, after 6 months. Now on to my next problem.
Same '96 has been making a loud noises, sounds like scraping from something at or near the front end, when I go into a slightly hard turn. Have new shocks, tie rods & ball joints. No visual signs of scraping anywhere. Any suggestions? Someone had told me about bushings that hold body to frame but I can't remember who it was or what exactly they were called.
