I have 17 inch sawblades on my 94 vert but I hate the gap between tire and fenders. Anyone running larger wheels without any suspension mods? I would love to see some pics to see if I would like the look.
With larger wheels comes thinner sidwall tires (use the Plus + setup) so your odometer and speedometer will stay correct. You won't loose the gap between tire and fender.
Here is the best I have now. Not opposed to lowering the car but didn't want to mess with the ride. But looks come before ride so if I have to lower what are the easiest/cheapest options since I plan on buying wheels anyway. I would still like tosee some pics of larger wheels on a C4
Largest I know of that still fits the car and don't look like a donk.
What size (19 and 20?) and has your car been lowered as well? Are those custom wheels or from another Vette? Did you have to do anything to get them to fit?

They are 19's it is lowered and the wheels are custom. Yes I had to change a few things.
I have 2006 wheels on my 1987 they are 18" in front and have 25" tall and 9.5" wide tires, the rears are 19" with 26" tall and 11" wide tires. I needed 1" adaptor spacers to make them fit. In this picture I do not have the spacers on the front yet so they are inset too much but you can drive the car with them and it does not rub anywhere at all.

I wonder if I will need the spacer on a 94. If I stay with 17s what is and nice economical way of doing it? New lowering springs or a lower kit with stock springs?
Changing wheels and tires won't get rid of the gap much.
You don't need wheel adapters if the "offset" is same as stock, (around 54-56 mm).
You'll need to lower it some.
I lowered mine for free. I trimmed the pads on the front spring 50% and drilled new holes for the cotter pins in the rear spring bolts as low as possible. (I should have got the "lowering bolts" for the back. A little lower would look perfect.)
