how do i disconnct the harness? can`t get it out far enough. does dashpad have to to come off? where can i get xenon bulbs? are they 30 bucks apiece? there`s these 4 metal caps that pop off and are these the bulbs? center dispay is out but the outlines are there. is this supposed to be like this?.okay got pad and panel off, looking for hose to pull bulbs out.

The connectors have latches that need to be released before the connectors will come off.

With the bezel off you should be able to see the light coming out around the metal reflectors. My bezel is off right now and it's very obvious that the bulbs are working. They should come on when you turn on the ignition.

hooray! got the cotton pickin` thing back in. think i may have missed something, job can`t be done with pulling dashpad. only prob is getting pad screws back in over panel. these bulbs ( 2 out of 4) lasted 25 years, 70k miles, better last, i ain`t doing this again, i`ll be 90 by then. if one of youse can do it without pulling pad, leave me your number.
