Have any of you experience with ordering from Corvette Central and being charged for an order you did not submit?
Over the weekend I ruined the passenger side electric window switch; looked it up at three places......ordered it from Corvette America. It was cheaper (I actually ordered 3) and shipping was less.
Sunday night I got an email that Corvette Central was sending me a dome light switch. I did not order this.
Now I am told one was shipped in September; I never received that order or I would have refused it.
Something is wrong with their ordering/internet service, in my opinion.
any reason you cant call them instead of this drama b.s. I've had excellent service from them and will continue to use them along with the other venders.
I phoned them. Pardon the drama, but it upsetting. They charged me in Septmember for the same thing (I now see) and my wife paid the VISA without question.....ummmm. I received nothing. Why would I want a dome lite; the thing is cloth and there is no electrical AND it is not an option that I know of.
Now they are charging me again.
Sorrow but know Alaskans have oil and $ and Sarah..... but it is wrong.
you know , you're right, I'm sorry I posted with out thinking, I've had good dealings with them, call the 800 number and ask for Heather, she's good people. Tomorrow though, they've just closed.
I've purchased numerous items from them and never had a bad experience. As the "experienced Alaskan gentleman" said, give them a call and see if you can work the problem out.

I wrote them an email (Attention, Heather) this morning. My wife looked back in the banking records and she paid VISA $17.00+/- for the same dome light in September 2011.
Now a dome light is being shipped and IF I return it they will give me credit???? I did not receive a dome light/switch in September 2011--I did not order one. I have a convertible.
Now the same thing is happening. I hope Heather can straighten this out. My credit card is being used without my permission; I did not order the item/s; I have not received an order.
My wife is extremely upset....as I wrote we are 72-73 each; I am sorry that you feel I am out-of-line but money did not come easy to us and we live frugally. My Corvette is a real "luxury".
My wife is going to write the BBB in Sawyer, MI, and complain to B of A about mis-use of our VISA.
Right now you are talking about how much money -$34.00? Before you write to the BBB and complain to VISA try to work it out with Corvette Central first. I am not trying to downplay that what has happened to you is wrong but if my problems right now centered on $34.00, my wife and I would be booking a flight to Paris to celebrate. This only came to your attention a few days ago. Amohg many other problems, I have been arguing on and off for a few years with doctors about thousands of dollars in bills (that I do not owe)! If you and your wife are in reasonably good health and hopefully this is the extent of your money woes, then take a deep breath, give her a hug and kiss and try to be pleasant Heather/Corvette Central in resolving this problem.

Heather phoned a little bit ago; she is good and I think the billing is straight.....in September 2011 I did order the rubber water seals for the courtesy light switches in the body of the doors.
No one knows why I got a notice that dome light switches were being sent......now. They are apparently not being sent.
