So me and some friends are just leaving the dinner after seeing a movie (time was approximately 3:30am) andi am stopped at a light. I signal left and make the turn. about 5 seconds later i see a car make the same turn and is about 500 feet behind me. He was driving kinda slow and i was doing a few miles under the speed limit. Then i see him start to swerve back and forth. Now i am thinking this guy must be drunk. I decide to pull over into a parking lot to let him pass, but before i could cop light light up behind me. So i pull over. Aparently i made an illegal left turn at thge light. The guy was kinda pissed at me because i caused him to spill his M&M's  Iether way he let me go with a warning. I swear i have a cop magnet on my car somewhere. This is twice in 10 days. Needless to say i am driving very carefully. :blueangel:
3am + Vette + Your Age = Duh!! Be happy it isn't yellow. :smash:
Scorp hit the nail on the head. Sorry to hear about your near hit Will. Mom would have beat you severely. I am sure that would have been the last of the vette.
You said 2nd time in 10 days? What happened that time? I remember the speeding ticket a month or so ago. Mom's going to get you.

After the prom i went home to get changed and then went to a friends house. on the way i got pulled over for fading over the yellow and speeeding (i was doing 42 in a 40) I didn't get a ticket and the cop was coool about it. I am pretty sure he was hoping for a DUI with it being prom and all. So 2 pullovers in 10 days and no tickets  ]
In my neighborhood, it's not the exotics and sports cars that get harassed, but instead the ratty Toyotas, Hondas and other rice mobiles. The biggest problem we have in Los Angeles at 3 am happens to be street robberies and gang activity. 18th Street and White Fence are driving the really ratty imports and stealing them too. If the police see an exotic car driving down Sunset Blvd, they assume it's some rich Beverly Hills type on the way home and leave it alone. Circle the block a few times in a ratty Honda and they think you're casing a 7-11 to rob. Living in a high crime area does have some advantages.

Funny I remember COrvettes only have two sweats
In having my vette for over two years i am proud to say that i was only pulled over once. (Knock on Wood) I was doing 50-ish on a twisty 35MPH road i know like the back of my hand. The cop simply looked at me and said, "You know, you were going a little faster then 35MPH back there. I've seen a lot of deer around here, you wouldn't want to mess this up, would you?" I replied, "No sir" and he let me go. Happened within 1 mile from my home. He didn't have any proof that i was speeding:cool:
I do think that a young adult in a corvette will be a prime target. I used to get pulled over all the time in my bright red Trans Am when i was 17, ah memories... :yesnod:

Yellow attracts more cops than a all night donut shop! :D
I have been a Vette owner for over 7 yrs now and have only been pulled over one time. I was going 87mph in a 70mph zone and I got off with just a warning! He also told me to get my front plate on but I just keep forgetting to get that done. :yesnod:
