Does the shift indicator on a 90 have a lite bulb inside? I can't find any reference that shows one. Although I know where all the positions are by feel it would be nice if it was lighted.
My '86 has holes for two bulbs but there is only one at the L end. It's a # 194. I have seen other threads on this and they all had only one bulb.
I've been thinking of changing mine to LEDs, but haven't figured out how I'm going to do that. The trick is to get the lighting even along the whole gear indicator -- not easy.

It would be nice to have any light working in that area. The light in the mirror (mood lighting?) isn't strong enough to light it. I'll take it apart and see what's there.
I swapped out my 4+3 for a 4l60e and retrofitted a stock automatic console. There were 2 bulb sockets so I assumed they came with 2 bulbs and I configured mine for 2. For those with one bulb it's easy to add another one if more light is needed. My prndl display is evenly lit top to bottom with 2 bulbs.
