Corvette Central listed my electric window switches as also being for the power door locks......My hope is that the switch IS the problem and not the actuator on the passenger side.
I have switched both out in my 87 and I can confirm that the window switches and the power door lock switches are one of the same. Buy at Ecklers.
My advice to you is take one of the other switches and move it to the passenger side and if it works then you know your problem is the switch and not the actuator. Good Luck....
Corvette Central was cheaper I got three--installed the window switches and those are working well
I believe an actuator is $90.00...yikes. Have any of you bought just the lower door carpeting; not the entire door panel?
How did you get the carpeting off the panel? My problem is the top of the carpeting has "retreated" and shows glue and backing--ugly.
Kool deal. I bought the lower carpet for my door panels before and installed myself. I first removed any and all staples from the back side. Then I pulled the carpet off which was pretty hard. I used a adhesive remover from Home Depot as well as a razor scraper. The job is time consuming, so Just buy a 6 pack of your favorite beer and get to work.
Your can always look at my treads I started from my profile to see pictures. Good luck.
