I have a set of stock C4 wheels off my '90 vette, I no longer have the car & have a chance to sell them. My question is what would be a fair price to ask for them. They are in good shape with just a few minor scapes on them.
Have a look on craigslist in your area for that info. I just sold a set of 87 wheels with good tread old hard tires for 250 dollars in central valley ca
Around here there are some pretty wide variations in price. A lot of them don't sell very well.
I generally see C4 17" sets without tires advertised from about $150 to about $350. Some of the difference is because of condition, but most of them look pretty nice with a few minor problems.
I tried to sell six '86 wheels and didn't get even a nibble until I dropped the price down to $100 for all six. Then a guy with a VW bought them.
I tried to sell a near mint set of '94 wheels with brand new tires for $550 and only got one response of a low ball $250 that would not even cover my costs for the back tires.
I tried to sell a set of near mint '97-'99 C5 wagon wheels. I was asking $150 and didn't get a single call.
I am about to advertise a set of C5 magnesiums and don't look forward to trying to sell them either.
In short, I haven't had much luck selling wheels.
I have a set of '90 wheels that I am keeping. They are my favorite C4 wheels. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks, Yeah sometimes things seem worth more to you than people are looking to pay. The '90 wheels are my favorite C4 ones to but I had them for along time & have a chance to sell them. The person has the 35th Ann. white on white wheels & is looking for the aluminum ones.
When you advertize any C4 Sawblade or the Cushin Arts like you have make sure the BMW, VW, Audi, guys see it. They go nuts over these wheels. They like the fact they bolt on (same bolt pattern, I think) and they can mount some really wide rubber on them.
